Bulky Item & Illegal Dumping

Please call the City's Residential Franchised Hauler, Waste Management by calling (661) 259-2398 to schedule a free bulky item collection. City residents receive four free bulky item collections per year.  Up to three items will be collected per pick-up including electronic waste.

 

To dispose of bulky items, you have the following options:

  1. Schedule a free bulky item pick up through Waste Management. To do so, please call (661) 259-2398. 
  2. Drop off your electronic waste at Blue Barrel/Waste Management's yard located at 25772 Springbrook Road, Santa Clarita, CA  91350. Their yard is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Illegal Dumping

Illegal DumpingDo not illegally dump your waste! Illegal dumping damages neighborhoods, ruins the beautiful views of Santa Clarita, threatens the environment, and it’s against the law. If you witness illegal dumping or see items that have been illegally discarded in the City right of ways, call it in! You can report abandoned items to the City’s Environmental Services Division at 661)286-4098.

 

Dumping in the Storm Drain

What can I do if I see someone illegally dumping materials (paint, cement, motor oil, etc) into the gutter or catch basin? Who can I call if I see something in the gutter and I don't know what it is? To report illegal dumping and discharges to the storm drain system, call the City's Stormwater Hotline immediately at (661) 222-7222.
